Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test - 2009 Guidelines for Direct Admission for the session 2009-2010
A. Eligibility for Direct Admission :
The order of direct admission will be as follows :
1. RPET-2009 passed candidates who have not admitted in any institution.
2. AIEEE-2009 passed bonafied resident candidates of Rajasthan (negative or zero marks in AIEEE-2009 examination are not allowed)
3. AIEEE-2009 passed candidates who are resident of state other then Rajasthan (negative or zero marks in AIEEE-2009 examination are not allowed)
4. 10+2 passed candidates who are bonafied resident of Rajasthan
5. 10+2 passed candidates who are resident of state other then Rajasthan
Note :
1. The candidates who have reported in any intuition allotted by RPET-2009 during the 1st and 2nd counselling will not be eligible for direct admission.
2. Other eligibility norms will be same as specified in the information Booklet of RPET-2009.
B. Vacancy :
1. The institution will have to perform internal shifting against vacant seats before carrying out the direct admission.
2. After carrying out internal shifting, the institutions will determine the branch wise vacancy for direct admission.
3. The branch wise vacancy for direct admission will be communicated to Coordinator, RPET-2009 latest by 20-09-2009.
C. Fees :
The direct admission will be carried out as per the fees specified by State Level Fees Committee (the fees structure is also available on our website). Thecandidates will have to deposit the fees for direct admission in the concerned
institution.
D. Important Dates at a Glance :
1. Internal shifting by the institution Before 20.09.2009
2. Declaration of vacant seats by the institution for direct admission (the same to be published in news paper and to be communicated to Coordinator RPET-2009)
20.09.2009
3. Completion of Entire Direct Admission Process by the institution 30.09.2009
4. Submission of Final List of admission by the institution to Coordinator, RPET-2009 05.10.2009
E. Procedure :
The institution shall constitute an admission committee comprising of
Principal/Director as its Chairman and Head of Department as its members. The
committee shall follow the following procedure :
1. The institution shall allow first internal shifting and thereafter the vacant
seats will be determined for direct admission.
2. Institution shall advertise the branch wise vacancy for direct admission in
all edition of a state level newspaper and the same shall be displayed on
websites of the concerned institution. The vacancy will also be
communicated to Coordinator, RPET-2009.
3. The candidates will submit the application to respective institution
directly.
4. Admission must be given strictly on the basis of the merit list prepared as
per guidelines specified in the eligibility criterion for direct admission and
norms given in information booklet of RPET-2009.
5. Total transparency must be ensured in the entire process of direct admission.
6. The admission committee must ascertain the eligibility norms through original documents submitted by the candidates before giving the
admission.
7. The committee must also ascertain and verify that the candidate has
deposited the fees as per norms given by the State Level Fee committee.
8. Admission committee will be responsible for entire admission process for Direct Admission. The Coordinator, RPET-2009 will not be responsible for any dispute during the admission process for direct admission.
